Welcome to www.soil-map.eu!

The Soil-Map platform provides a stage for players and activities of soil protection and sustainability in the Danube region.

This project is financed by the Department of Rural Development of the Office of the Lower Austrian Government, and it shall give a geographical overview of current activities relating to the topics of soil protection and sustainability.

Via the menu item „map“, you reach google map, which is permanently expanded with current contents.

Currently, the international members of the European Land and Soil Alliance (ELSA), as well as the project partners of the ETC projects of SONDAR SK-AT, SONDAR HU-AT, SONDAR CZ-AT, SOPRO HU-AT and a large number of best-practice examples on the topics of soil protection and sustainability in Lower Austria are shown.

Also destinations are contained for persons interested in soil.

Partners have the opportunity to integrate this Soil-Map into their own website, and to publish contents themselves. Apply here for relevant information.

The Soil-Map project is implemented within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), initiated by the “sustainability“ working group of the Working Community of the Danube Regions with the Department of Rural Development of the Office of the Lower Austrian Government presiding. The SENEC Association (Soil and Bioenergy Network of European Countries) is charged with maintenance and updating.
